LocalRise

Local business websites that turn “near me” searches into booked jobs.

You already show up on Google. The problem is what happens next: someone taps your listing, finds a phone number and not much else, and calls the competitor with a real website. LocalRise builds that website for you — live in 5 to 7 days, with nothing technical on your end.

LocalRise delivery average

Figures are drawn from published industry research on small-business web presence and local search behaviour. We cite them because they are the whole argument: the demand already exists, and the only question is whether it reaches you or someone else.

One minute, start to finish

This is the minute that decides who gets the job.

Nothing here is hypothetical. It is what happens on a phone, in a driveway, when someone needs your trade right now and has three options in front of them.

0:00 — The search

A pipe bursts and they reach for their phone.

They type four words, not a brand name. Google hands back three businesses within a few miles, ranked by relevance, distance and reputation. You are one of the three. So far, everything is going your way.

0:12 — The tap

They open your listing and hit the end of it.

A phone number, opening hours, a star rating, a few customer photos. That is the whole profile. A Google Business Profile is a signpost — it was never meant to be the destination, and on its own it cannot answer a single real question.

0:31 — The doubt

Four questions go unanswered, and doubt does the rest.

Do they handle this specific job? Do they come out to my street? Roughly what will it cost? Is the work guaranteed? Nobody calls a stranger to find out when the next listing answers all four in ten seconds.

0:58 — The decision

With a website, the same minute ends with your phone ringing.

Same search, same customer, same star rating. The difference is that this time they land on a page that names your services, lists your suburbs, shows real work and puts a quote button under their thumb. That is the entire product. That is what we build.

What you actually get

Nine things every local service website needs. All nine, every build.

This is not a page of stock photos. Each piece below exists to answer a question a customer asks before they call you — which is the only job a local business website has.

A page for every service

Drain cleaning, panel upgrades, flat-roof repair — whatever you sell gets its own page with its own heading. Separate pages are how Google learns you do that specific job, and how you rank for it.

Your service area, named

Suburbs, towns and postcodes written out in plain text. “We cover the whole metro” means nothing to a customer in one particular suburb, and nothing to a search engine either.

Contact that survives a thumb

A tap-to-call button that never scrolls out of reach on a phone, plus a short quote form that lands in your inbox. Most enquiries arrive from a mobile in someone's hand.

Reviews where they count

Your best Google reviews pulled onto the page next to the buy decision, not buried three taps away. Review text is also some of the most natural keyword-rich copy you will ever get.

Photos of your actual work

Before-and-afters, your van, your crew. We compress and size them properly so the page still loads in about a second on a patchy mobile connection.

Local SEO groundwork

Title tags, headings, internal links, LocalBusiness schema, an XML sitemap and a Google Business Profile tidy-up — the unglamorous setup that decides whether any of this gets found.

Speed treated as a feature

We build to Google's Core Web Vitals thresholds — largest paint under 2.5 seconds, near-zero layout shift. A slow site loses customers before it ever gets to persuade them.

SSL, backups and uptime

Certificate, daily backups and monitoring from day one. If something breaks at 11pm on a Sunday, it is our problem, not yours.

Copy written for you

You talk, we write. One short call gives us the services, the area and the things you say to customers every week. You never have to stare at a blank page.

Built for your trade

Pick your trade and see the shape of the site.

Same engineering underneath, different structure on top. A roofer needs a storm-damage page; a salon needs a booking link and a price list. Choose one to swap the example.

Illustrative layouts, not client sites — every build is made from your own services, photos and words.

Website design by trade

Plumber website design

Emergency-first layout, tap-to-call in the header, and separate pages for blocked drains, burst pipes and hot water so each one can rank on its own.

Electrician website design

Licence and insurance details up front, safety-switch and switchboard pages, and a clear split between domestic and commercial work.

Roofing website design

Storm-damage and insurance-claim pages that catch seasonal demand, plus a gallery built to carry heavy before-and-after photography without slowing down.

HVAC website design

Seasonal service pages for heating and cooling, maintenance-plan sign-up, and an after-hours path for the days the whole town calls at once.

Auto repair website design

Service and logbook pages, makes you specialise in, and a booking form that captures rego and job type so your morning starts with real information.

Landscaping website design

Project-led design where the photography does the selling, with maintenance and one-off build offers kept clearly apart.

Cleaning company website design

Separate residential and commercial paths, transparent frequency-based pricing, and a quote form that asks the three questions you would ask anyway.

Salon website design

A live price list, a booking button wired to your existing system, and a stylist gallery that gives regulars something to send their friends.

How the week goes

From first call to live site in under a week.

Four stages. You are involved in two of them, for about an hour total.

Day 1

Tell us about the work

A twenty-minute call. What you do, where you go, who you would rather not hear from, and what you say to customers on the phone every week.

Days 2–5

We build the whole thing

Design, copy, photos, service pages, forms, speed and SEO setup. Nothing is outsourced back to you and nothing sits waiting on a password.

Day 6

You review it

A private link, on your phone, at whatever hour suits. One round of changes is included in every package and usually takes a day.

Day 7

It goes live

Domain connected, SSL on, sitemap submitted, Google Business Profile pointed at the new site. Then hosting, backups and monitoring are ours to worry about.

Pricing

One flat build price, quoted before we start.

No hourly billing, no surprise invoice at the end. Hosting and care are optional and separate, so you are never locked into anything.

Straight answers

The questions that come up on every first call.

Who is LocalRise actually for?
Local service businesses whose customers find them through Google: plumbers, electricians, roofers, HVAC technicians, auto shops, landscapers, cleaners, salons and similar trades. If you have a Google Business Profile and no website — or a website you are embarrassed to send anyone — you are exactly who we build for.
Do I really need a website if I already rank on Google Maps?
The map listing is what gets you seen; the website is what gets you chosen. A profile carries your phone number, hours and reviews. It cannot explain which jobs you take, which suburbs you cover, what a callout costs or whether the work is guaranteed. Those four answers are what stand between a tap and a phone call. A website also gives you something the profile never will: pages that can rank in ordinary search results for the specific services you sell.
How much does a small business website cost?
Ours are $500, $1,500 or $2,500 as a one-time build, depending on how many pages and how much SEO work you need. Hosting and care are $29 a month and optional. Across the wider market you will see anything from about $15 a month for a self-built template to well over $10,000 for a custom agency build — the gap is mostly how much of the work you do yourself. With us, the answer is none of it.
What do you need from me, and how long does it take?
One call of about twenty minutes, and any photos you already have on your phone. That is it. From there: five business days for Starter, seven for Professional, ten for Growth. In practice the only thing that delays a build is waiting on feedback, so we send the review link with a deadline attached.
Do I own the website, or am I renting it?
You own it. The domain is registered in your name, the site is yours, and if you ever want to move to another host or another agency we hand over the files and get out of the way. There is no contract, no lock-in period and no cancellation fee on the care plan.
Can I update it myself afterwards?
Yes. Every build includes a simple editing view for text, photos, prices and hours — no code and no training course. If you would rather not, small changes are included in the $29 care plan and usually turned around the same day.
Will it work on phones?
It is designed on a phone first, because that is where most local searches happen. Tap-to-call stays reachable, forms are short enough to finish one-handed, and images are compressed so the page still loads quickly on a weak mobile signal.
Will it actually help me rank?
Honest answer: a website is a prerequisite, not a guarantee. We set the foundation properly — one page per service, your suburbs named in text, clean headings, internal links, LocalBusiness and Service schema, an XML sitemap, and fast Core Web Vitals. That is what makes ranking possible. Where you land after that depends on your reviews, how close you are to the searcher and how hard your competitors are working. Anyone promising you position one is guessing.
What if I don't like it?
One revision round is included with every package. If after that you still do not want the site, you do not pay for it. We would rather lose a build than argue someone into a website they are not proud of.
